Nuestro guía fue Donny, la pasamos súper bien y aprendimos mucho, se nota que le gusta lo que hace y eso hace las caminatas muy entretenidas.Posted onVerified Two Nights in Corcovado Hiking the La Leona We organized a private tour of Corcovado with a 2 night stay at the Sirena ranger station hiking the La Leona trail with Milton. This was truly the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica and we highly recommend Milton’s guide services! The hike in was an all day adventure filled with unique animal sightings along with unbelievable scenery. On this hike we spotted coatis, spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, white faced capuchins, scarlet macaws, peccaries, and an abundance of interesting plants and trees. Milton was an amazing guide, sharing a wealth of knowledge about everything we were seeing along the way. There were a couple of other groups on the trail we crossed paths with, but for nearly the entire duration of the day it felt like we had all of the nature to ourselves. When we arrived at the station our food and sleeping arrangements were taken care of right away. Milton really did know how to make life easy for us. The following day we hit the trails early and shortly after sunrise we spotted a beautiful Tapir! A truly majestic animal. We stopped for breakfast at the station and then set of for the local trails around the Sirena station where we saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys, crocodiles, caiman, coatis, and an abundance of unique bird species. Milton structured the day so we would experience the most amount of nature while taking breaks when the station was less busy. We hiked out on the La Leona on the third day. We were really glad we did the hike twice, the trail really offers you something different each time you hike it. The tides and amount of sun may change where you hike, either in the trees or on the beach. The animal sightings are different, on this day we spotted a beautiful crested owl. If you are planning to book a trip to Sirena, book a trip with Milton! If you are hiking in and/or out definitely plan your trip with Milton, he is the best! If you don’t want to deal with a large group, or like to have the pace adapted to you definitely book a private tour it was very reasonable and the only way I could imagine doing this trip to Corcovado. Thanks again Milton!Posted onVerified I'd go anywhere with Milton Milton guided us for three days and two nights through Corcovado. We knew he was a great guide when we had him, but after spending another seven days in CR and having two other guides with different companies, we realized Milton was an EXCEPTIONAL guide. I mean that without exaggeration; for us, he was basically all we could have asked for. I have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education and Evolutionary Biology, and Milton reminded me of my grad school professors with the level of knowledge he had. He was passionate about wildlife in all its forms, and shared that passion continuously throughout the trip. He not only knew the individual species, but the interactions between them, their tracks, and disturbance ecology. I can’t imagine how difficult it is to keep up a warm and open mood for three days of near-constant question answering and pauses to point out local flora and fauna, but Milton was unfazed. One night he even sat with us after dinner and helped us make a complete list of every species we saw—in English, Spanish, and Latin! He kept us safe, on schedule, and took us on trails other guides didn’t bother with because they required more effort. His English is impeccable, and he’ll speak Spanish slowly and clearly for you without being patronizing if you’re a Spanish learner.Posted onVerified Visitas guiadas de grupos de estudiantes. El año pasado, así como en los 3 años anteriores, tuvimos la gran bendición, de contar con nuestro guía y amigo Milton, y su emprendimiento. Sin duda alguna, su servicio al cliente fue insuperable, el posee mucho conocimiento, carisma y responsabilidad. Me ayudo en los 4 años, a coordinar todos los detalles, de nuestra visita al PN Corcovado, y gracias a ello mis visitas con los grupos de estudiantes, fueron experiencias para toda la vida. Costa Rica Wild Expeditions un 10/10. Don Milton tiene amplio conocimiento de flora y fauna. Más de 10 años de experiencia. Fuimos en familia y la pasamos muy muy bien. Ticos: si tiene la oportunidad vale la pena ir al menos 1 vez en la vida, hagamos turismo local, contraten guías locales, realmente ellos conocen mejor la zona y los precios son más accesibles y se ayuda a las comunidades de nuestro país 🇨🇷.Posted onVerified Tour de primer nivel Todo el tour fue increíble. Corcovado es un lugar mágico que recarga energía, y Milton es fácil uno de los mejores guías (incluso dicho por los mismos guías con los que se comparte en el refugio) para visitar el parque. Notoria su experiencia y conocimiento de la flora y fauna, lectura de huellas, interpretación de sonidos, dominio de senderos y muy importante, disfrute de la experiencia respetando la especies que se avistan… 100% recomendado
